Legal Question in Disability Law in Georgia

I have a heart condition which requires me to take a diuretic (water pill). After taking it, I often have a short time to make it to the bathroom in time. In addition, I am mobility impaired due to injuries to my back and knees while in the military. I take phone calls at a help desk, and often I have to rip off my headset and go as quickly as I can. There are times when I am in such a hurry that I neglect to log off the phone, which results in missed calls. My manager wants me to take a copy of the job requirements to my health care provider and have him say that there is, or is not, a medical issue that is causing me to miss the calls.

What is your question? It appears that you are having difficulty with some of the requirements of your employer, and the employer is asking for medical information directly related to the issue (as opposed to possibly replacing you with a person who can perform to their requirements). Are you asking whether you can rely on a medical condition as an excuse for not meeting the employer's requirements, but refusing to provide them with an actual medical certification? Of course not.
