if you are the victim of domestic abuse and the state takes your case, if you don't come to court, will the case be dropped automatically if there is a felony charge involved.

The state doesn't take your case. As a victim, you are a witness, and it is their case. If you are under subpoena and fail to appear, a judge can punish you for failure to appear (with jail and fines). And the state could prosecute without you, or seek a reset.
(Also, a victim who is thinking about not appearing really needs mental health counseling to find out why they would not want to pursue the case, as not pursuing it would leave an abuser unpunished and more brazen as to future dangerous conduct).
