Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Georgia
Motion For Reconsideration
Is there a time limit for a defendant who lost a judgement, in a small claims suit, to enter a motion for reconsideration in the state of GA? If so, what is that time frame? As the plaintiff, can I fight it? It has been over 90 days since the judgment was placed in my favor.

Re: Motion For Reconsideration
Generally, a person, whether plaintiff or defendant, has 30 days to file a notice of appeal. However, it is usually the party who loses that appeals.
