ATM number stolen

I used my ATM card at amco and the lady that took it got my number and used it in oxford Alabama at a Lowe's store the bank was aware and the police was also. the 1075.00 that was charged to my account will be replaced but what now. How much info can you get from an ATM card. My account is now frozen for 24-48 Hrs. I need to no my rights. Ive lost time at work from this. I now have to wait on a new card. this is a mess and so am I. Help

You may want to ask your bank for recommendations on how to proceed with management of your account and ask them what investigative measures that they are taking. It might be possible to stop using the ATM for a while, so that if some one does use it, it is a red flag (maybe a camera did/will get the person's picture). You should also consider asking the major credit reporting entities, i.e. Transunion, Experian, etc. to put a fraud alert on your accounts.
