Is it illegal to walk into a bank with a tape recorder in order to record a conversation with a bank teller or manager?

It likely is not "illegal" to merely walk into a bank with a tape recorder, ipod, or other item. However, it may be a violation of the law to trespass if one has been given a warning to not return to private property, with or without a recorder. Those facts are not presented, but often a short question is really a larger issue.
