Legal Question in Banking Law in Georgia
I co-signed a mortgage on a townhouse about 12 years ago for my 2nd wife's Daughter. So far I have paid the homeowners assoc. $5000. and 4 months rent to keep it from going into foreclosure. I now live in Ocala Fl. and the problem in GA. has gone from bad to worse. I called the Mortgage Co. and found that June is not paid. I have also heard that the Electric and Gas has been turned off and that Water will be off in 3 months. They, homeowners say they will con dime the house at that point. (By the way, she has trashed her own house)
Are there any actions I can or should take?

You should retain a lawyer to look at all the paperwork. You may or may not have enormous liability.
