Legal Question in Banking Law in Georgia
If someone gave you their debit card to make purchases for them (gas, food, ciggs), can they put you in jail for credit card fraud. My father in law is mad at my husband and is trying to get him put in jail.

The police put people in jail, and the DA brings the charges. Anyone can make a criminal complaint, whether or not it is valid. If your husband is arrested, get a lawyer to deal with it if and when it happens.
