Legal Question in Banking Law in Georgia

I went through a loan company and was approved for a loan. I had to pay them a security deposit as well as an insurance payment upfront. I paid bopth of those things and right after that was done, I could not get ahold of the company who never in return gave me the loan. I did get ahold of them once and when I told them my name they hung the phone up on me. I put in a complaint with the BBB, as well as with a few other government companies and nothing is really getting done about this. I would like to know if I can sue this company for the amount of my loan, the amount that I paid, as well as lawyer fees, if I was to try to do this?

No one here has your loan documents to see what the obligations are. Many lenders have "outs" to not fund the loan under certain conditions. Your post is also far from clear. Why do you think you could sue the for the amount of the loan? They weren't going to give you that money in the first place - it was a loan. In short, your documents and more facts are necessary - have a lawyer review.

I am wondering why you would think you could sue them for more than your fee. Whether you can sue for that depends on the paperwork.
