Legal Question in Banking Law in Georgia

I took out aloan for a car when i was seventeen this was in 1993. i defaulted on the payments. then the car caught on fire and insurance was settled and then we gave the car back to the bank and they returned it to us it was charged of in may of 1999. now it is 2005 and the have sent us a letter telling us they are taking us to court. would you please tell me what my legal rights are and what i need to do about this.

How much are they claiming? I need to review the loan docs to see if they can pursue a deficiency judgment (balance after collateral value was paid by ins.)
