Legal Question in Banking Law in Georgia
money
I was laid off and got a lump sum payment from my 401k plan, I did not have a bank account so I deposited the funds into my wife's bank account the check was payable to me not my wife her name was not on the check this happened back in July 2008, now I'm wondering is there a way to retreive the rest of my money and can get this money out of my wife's account! she did not have to endorse the check!

You leave out the obvious - why can't you simply ask your wife to withdraw it and give it to you. If there is a story behind that, it is likely relevant and necessary.
