Can you still get adequate student loans with a bankruptcy on your record?

I am looking to obtain my master's degree in social work next year. I have over $10,000 in credit card debt (no student loan debt--I paid that off ok) and I only make about $27,000 a year. If I declare bankruptcy this year, will that affect my eligibility in getting approved for student loans?

That depends on the lenders, but it will probably be considered. Many may very well ponder whether filing for bankruptcy was a wise choice rather than delaying school and paying off debt.
