Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
bankrupcty and credit card
I'm on chapter 13.and was sent a credit card.I have very little income so i used it.Now i'm behind on it and late chargs.are racking up.Can you give me advice please?

Get offline and call your attorney. You signed various documents in your case including one that told you that you were prohibited by law from incurring new debt without court permission.
There may be no way to fix your violation of the court order. It is possible that your Chapter 13 will be dismissed, maybe with a prohibition on refiling. The new debt will also need to be paid.
If there is a fix, your attorney is the one to see. And even if there isn't, you need to discuss this with him.
