If i file chapter 7, does that eliminate all of my debt? and how long does it usually take to complete bankruptcy?

Most debts are discharged in a Chapter 7. Most taxes, student loans, child support, alimony and fraudulent transactions are not. The first step if you are thinking of Chapter 7 is to see a lawyer, as your exact information affects if you can file, if you should file, and what happens.
