Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

I filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in August 2006 and my lawyer keeps telling me I need to keep waiting. I started a business 6 months after filing. Is my business in danger? My lawyer offered to refund the money...how can I find out if he messed things up?
