Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Bankruptcy
I have POA for my son. He has gotten way behind on his payments due to a NJP where some of his pay was taken and then they messed up and didnt take enough. In the beginning I told him he neede to try the Credit counsiling but I now believe he is too far behind. Can I file for bankruptcy for him since I have his POA? I discussed this with him and it's the only option left for him. He is stationed 3500 miles away and cant get back here for a while.

Re: Bankruptcy
You cannot file for him. If he is on military duty, HE may be able to file and appear by telephone. Contact my office to determine if that is a feasible option.
