Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Bankruptcy
It's been 10 years since my bankruptcy. How can I have that info removed from my credit report? I was told I needed a letter from an attorney to have it remove.

Re: Bankruptcy
The procedures and instructions for disputing an entry should be included with the report. If not, call the bureaus.

Re: Bankruptcy
It is illegal for it to be reported after 10 years so it should drop off automatically. If it doesn't, just write the credit bureau and advise them they have an out of date item.
