Buying back a business after Chapter 11
Father-in-law wants to sell business that is in Chapter 11 to a family member to avoid foreclosure and purchase it back within a year. Is this legal?

That is a question for the lawyer who is handling the Chapter 11 case. No one else can tell you if it is legal (or otherwise appropriate) with only one sentence of details.
