Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

Already on Chapter 13 but not helping matters

I am currently on chapter 13 already but the weekly payments are just killing us. So I was wondering is it too late for us to file chapter 7?

Assuming that a Chapter 7 is appropriate a Chapter 13 can be converted to a Chapter 7. You lawyer should have explained that in your first visit discussing Chapter 13.
