Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Chapter 13 question
We recently filed Chapter 13 and have been current on all of our payments since. But in January we had some slow work and are going to be two months behind on the mortgage. I have called the mortgage company and I have arranged to pay them the amount due this week. But today I got a letter in the mail saying that they want to foreclose anyway. If we get everything paid current before the court date, will they still want to foreclose? And can they?
