Child Support Bankruptcy
My grand-daughter's father has filed bankruptcy on his deliquent child support. His lawyer has had it postponed twice. When it does go before the judge or panel can he grant bankruptcy on child support. Filed chapter 13

Child support is non-dischargeable in bankruptcy. If he filed a chapter 13 case and listed the child support arrears as a debt, he will have to pay the child support but it may be paid through his case.
