Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
court judgements in a bankruptcy
Four years ago I won a judgement against an individual for false infor on a home sale. I am now pressing the issue and he has said he will file bankruptcy. Can he include a ''court judgement'' in his bankruptcy?

In simple words, yes. Whether the judgment is dischargable is another matter, but most likely, it can be discharged. His attorney will have to file some additional pleadings in bankruptcy court, which you will have an opportunity to challenge if you want.

Sure he can. In fact if he files, he MUST list it.
Whether the debt can be discharged depends largely on the language your lawyer used if he prepared the judgment for the Judge, so I'd go see that lawyer to discuss that.
