Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
If you decide to file bankruptcy can you file the remainder of your lease in the bankruptcy so they can not sue for the balance of the lease

No one here can possibly know what you are talking about, because you chose to include no facts whatsoever. Lease for what? If you want a meaningful response, post all of the facts. To give you a general answer, bankruptcy might get you out of future lease payments and it will also likely mean you give up whatever you were leasing.

Bankruptcy does affect most leases, and you can generally terminate a lease or remain bound by it in most bankruptcies.
To answer you further I'd have to know if this is an apartment lease, car lease, rent to own deal, or something else, and also have other details.
