Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

Evictions

I have a person leasing my property. I have filed disposessory with the Magistrait court to have her evicted. I am told that she is may file bankruptcy. What are my legal rights can she stop the eviction in the state of Georgia.

If she does file bankruptcy, she can stall the eviction process and you would have to file a Motion for Relief in that case to proceed with the eviction. You would probably be looking at a delay of maybe 30-45 days.
