Re: Filing Bankruptcy
Hi.
In my 20 years of practice, I have never heard of a state prohibiting filing by an individual without an attorney. (A corporation needs an attorney.)
Be that as it may, filing for bankruptcy, is a fact-ridden question, and not all people should file. PLEASE SEE AN ATTORNEY TO ENSURE YOUR FACTS ARE SUCH THAT YOU SHOULD FILE. I'M NOT TRYING TO GET A FEE TO ANOTHER ATTORNEY (WHO I DON'T EVEN KNOW). I JUST AM SCARED THAT YOU HAVE CERTAIN FACTS WHICH INDICATE YOU SHOULDN'T FILE!
Good luck!
