Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

Filing status

Back in 2001 I lost my job well.. actually sep 10 2001, I went to an attorney in 2002 And got the papers an all drawn up for chapter 7 I needed to pay for the filing which is 900 and something. With no work at the time and part time for along up up till recently. I couldn't pay the 900. after all this time and now having a full time job but still unable to pay the high debit I have/had what is the best thing for me to do? redo from the start or continue from where I left off?

$900 is higher than a normal Chapter 7 fee for many lawyers, unless your case has above average complications or a very large number of creditors (we base our fees on number of creditors and other factors). Papers drawn in 2002 would be completely outdated and you'd be starting over anyway.
