Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Please help....Chapter 13
If a person filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy and then came into some money, can the person pay off the Chapter 13 bankruptcy? If so, is their a penalty for associated with paying it off?

The person to ask is your Chapter 13 lawyer. he represents you to the end, has the file so he knows your plan, and if you can do this, will be the one to file your paperwork. Call that lawyer.

Depending on your plan, you may be able to payout the case. The best thing to do is contact your lawyer and review your plan with him.
