Re: home foreclosure

Chapter 13 can stop a home foreclosure. Note that Chapter 13 is a form of bankruptcy and that all of your debts would have to be included.

Chapter 13 is a payment plan, meaning that you have to start making your regular payments again after you file.

Take a look at my web site - www.atlanta-bankruptcy-attorney.com for more info about Chapter 13.

Re: home forecloser

We do not know your circumstance. Usually one can make an agreement with the lender about making up past due payments, or file for bankruptcy prior to the sale.

Re: home forecloser

In some cases, a Chapter 13 (or 7) bankruptcy may save a home. To look into that, (1) get our worksheet at www.glenashman.com and complete it, and (2) a prerequisite for filing is a credit counselor certificate

[there is a list in my worksheet of where to get this]; then call us for an appointment if you're in metro Atlanta (if not, call a lawyer in ytour area).
