Your question implies that you plan to do something likely catastrophic - filingpro se. Over 95% of pro se filings encounter one or more serious problems, some unfixable, and many of which involve things as bad as criminal prosecution, reset hearings, loss of assets you could have kept, liens surviving bankruptcy that are collectable later and denial of discharge as to one or more debts. Yu should be more afraid than most as you don't even know the basics that could have been found with a few minutes of prep and reading (the state doesn't require anything, but the federal governmenthas a list of requirements, and your local district, for which there are three, and you didn't bother to specify which one, has its own add ons). Do you then know which exemptions to use (it may or may not be Georgia's), how to classify things in them and use them to strategic advantage, and once assigned a trustee, which extra documents they want for review and how to submit them, which may be electronic, paper, or otherwise (varies by Trustee)? Paperwork is just one piece of the puzzle;strategic use of it is key. And should you caserequire supplemental motions, doyou know howto file, brief and serve them, and when to do so? You may or may not encounter all those steps, but will you even know when you do?

Plain and simple, get counsel.
