Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
I am a judgment creditor and recently filed a bank garnishment against the judgment debtor. Today I learned that she has filed Chapter 13. Will the bank upon receipt of the "Notice of Bankruptcy", release any money that may have been frozen in her account due to my garnishment? Or, must they receive an Order from the bankruptcy court before the bank will release the account and funds back to the debtor.
