Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

almost 2 years ago i bought an automobile. the place i bought it from filed for bankruptsy (chap.7) in march 06. now today oct 10, 06 i received a letter from the bankrusptsy lawyer wanting to get in touch with me. what i was wanting to know was, are they gonna want me to pay the balance due at one time or will i get to make payments on the auto? the place i bought it from told us not to pay them anymore on it because the bankruptsy people would get in touch with us. what are my rights on all this? or do i have any?? thanks for any help on this matter.

The best way to figure out what the lawyer wants is to get in touch with him/her. Why guess when you can ask. We know nothing about the Bankruptcy case, your contract, etc.
