I owe about 20 thousand on luxuray items and lost one of my jobs. I can possible afford one, so can i file on the other?

You don't "file on" a particular debt. You file for bankruptcy and all your debts and assets are listed. What happens beyond that requires many more facts and details. See a bankruptcy lawyer in your area.
