Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Prepay Chapter 13 Plan
I have been in a 5 year Chapter 13 plan for more than 3 years. Due to an inheritance, I have increased the equity position in my home. If I use this equity to prepay the plan can unsecured creditors (30% in plan) claim the other 70%?

Re: Prepay Chapter 13 Plan
Possibly, and only one person can answer that - your lawyer. You should have already advised your lawyer as soon as that happened and your lawyer would then have made appropriate filings.
