Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
I had some properties that went through foreclosure and one was sold to someone else by the bank. I have some other creditors that I owe. I want to re-establish my credit and has been considering filing bankruptcy. Would this be beneficial.

There is not enough information here to tell you whether it would be beneficial. In many cases it would. If you have second mortgages on any of the properties, they will more than likely try and collect a deficiency with you. You need to meet with a bankruptcy attorney and have them assess your whole situation. I would be more than happy to meet with you. There is no charge for the consultation. I'd have to look at your numbers, but it is possible you could be sued by the foreclosure lenders. A bankruptcy would stop that so it may be a good option.
