refiling bankruptcy

i filed in 2004. is there anyway to file again? when? my husband would file but my credit cards don't have him on them.but i think in GA IN A MARRIAGEboth parties are responsable for debts during the marriage.

Your question lacks the information needed to answer you.

If your prior bankruptcy was a Chapter 7 you cannot file another Chapter 17 until 2012. You MAY be eligible to do a Chapter 13 bankruptcy now.

If your prior case was a 13, you MAY be eligible for either type case now, depending on what you did in the prior case.

You are not liable for your spouse's debts, nor is he liable for yours, unless each of you signed on that debt in which case both are liable.
