Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Refiling Bankruptcy Timeframe GA
My husband filed a chapter 13 in in 2004. It was dismissed in 2004. We need to now file a chapter 7 together this week. Is there a timeframe he has to wait to file a bankruptcy?

Re: Refiling Bankruptcy Timeframe GA
From what you posted, he probably can file now, but I need more information to answer. If you are thinking of filing and are in metro Atlanta, complete a bankruptcy worksheet at www.glenashman.com and call me to review it with you. We will be able to determine if he can do a Chapter 7.
