Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Repayment of Discharged Second Mortgage
My recent credit reported my 2nd mortgage with a 0 balance and under comments indicated discharged with bankruptcy. I am unable to access my account online and no longer receive payment coupons and do not know my current balance. Am I obligated to continue paying the 2nd mortgage or has this been discharged?

Re: Repayment of Discharged Second Mortgage
The person whom you need to ask is the lawyer who handled your case, and he certainly should nbot have filed a case for you without you having a clear understanding of issues regarding a home. If you reaffirmed you still owe it. If you surrendered your home you don't. If you kept the home but did no reaffirmation, and don't keep paying, expect foreclosure.
