Seeking case law to support position on seperation of entities in lawsuit
Lawsuit involves husband, wife and LLC (owned by IRA of husband and wife i.e., self directed IRA).
Action is complaint to avoid transfers.
Receiver is aggregating entities.
Majority of funds were received by LLC.
Looking for case law and legal findings to support seperation of entities.
No funds were comingeld between LLC and private enetities.

Little can really be gleaned from your post as far as facts, but if research is what you are looking for, your options are to hire a lawyer (preferably in the district in which the case is filed), or (the much less preferable option) do it yourself in a law library. Given that actions to avoid fraudulent transfers in a bankruptcy case - if that is what was filed since you mention a receiver and not a trustee - involved a complicated mix of state and federal law, you need a lawyer.
