Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

Selling House

My husband and I are in the process of filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Originally, we were going to keep the house. However, after looking at out financial status, we know that this is not possible. What are the ramifications if we decide to keep the bankruptcy, but sell the house? We have been to the Meeting of the Creditors.

You cannot sell your house without court permission. Changing your intentions also requires changes in your filing and may affect the case. Only your attorney can answer this question completely, and that is whom you should be asking.
