Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

Student Loans and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy pro se, yesterday. I just remembered that I didnt add a student loan. I do plan to reaffirm the debt, since it is deferred. What forms do I need to fill out in order to add this to my chapter 7 bankruptcy?

This is one of many reasons you need a lawyer. If you do not know what forms to file, you might not get a discharge. There are several requirements and forms to file, both before and after the case is filed. As for this particular question, the overwhelming majority of student loans are nondischargeable anyway.

Chapter 7 is NOT a do-it-yourself project. You have already messed up badly in excluding a creditor, and that means you need to do amendments and will owe additional court costs. Unsecured debts should NOT be reaffirmed, and your question indicates that you do not understand the process at all. Retain a lawyer before your case is further messed up. Pro se debtors tend to fare very badly in bankruptcy court, but if you retain counsel soon enough you may be able to rectify things.
