Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Trading a car, claimed in chapter 13
I Have been in a chpt 13 for 40 months of a 60 month plan. payments are set at $450.00/mo. I am trading a car which is included in my bankruptcy. My approximiate total debt is $10,000. The pay off on the car is $5000.00, how will my remaining payments be calculated? Will I stay on the same 60 month plan with a considerably lower monthly payment or will I keep the 450, and have a quicker pay off? Please Help, my lawyers are snakes.

Although bankruptcy is federal, each district has local rules which apply. I would suggest that you contact a bankruptcy attorney in PA to help you with your question.
