Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
My wife and I both filed ch7 in 2004, we were not married to each other at that time. Due to the economy I had to close my LLC business that I had signed for a lot of debt personally. Lost my house and vehicle to reposession. Would it be beneficial to file ch 13 now and convert to a 7 if things do not improve, or just dodge phone calls for another two years?

None of us have seen your income numbers and expense numbers, or debts, to know if you are even eligible for 13, or if a conversion is ultimately possible. Nor do we know enough detail to know what risks you would face in the next two years.
To access that we need detailed numbers. I'd be glad to review those with you.
Without knowing more about your current situation, it is difficult to answer your question on line. However, should you desire a complete review of your situation and what possible options you may or may not have, I would be glad to speak with you.
