Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
We are looking to become adistributor for a manufacturer located in the State of Alabama. We are proposing to the manufacturer the distribution rights for the State of Georgia. What legal documents will we need in order to start doing business?
In addition, do you have any forms that can also assist with compensation terms for selling the products?
1 Answer from Attorneys
You will need a comprehensive distribution agreement that will determine the rights and obligations of each party as well as miscellaneous issues such as choice of law and venue, i.e. will Georgia law or Alabama law control and where will any litigation occur.
If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. The link to my contact information is below. Thank you.
