Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I was approved for a vacation request by the regional manager. Prior to the request, no issues/concerns were brought to my attention and the approval was months before the actual time of the vacation.
After returning from the vacation, I was penalized for taking the days approved. The approval is in writing via email.
Is that legal? What options do I have?

Is what legal? You need to post the facts, and just saying you were "penalized" does not tell us what happened. Either way, it is "legal" for employers to be rude and complain about your vacation. Vacation days are typically a benefit, not a right, and the same is true of employment.
