Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
audit financial records of business
if you have stock (20%) in a company and you
feel that the major stockholder is wasting
the company's assets to start other

Re: audit financial records of business
You should be able to see the records, if your reason for seeing them is a legitimate, reasonable one. Check out O.C.G.A. Sections 14-2-1602(b) and (c). You can find this statute at http://www.georgianet.org/services/ocode/ocgsearch.htm. Good luck!
