Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Business
My husband and I own a Property Management Business. We work for a Condo Association and handle management and fee collections. A few days ago our home was broken into and all our business files and our computer was stolen. We have no back ups and no way to track documents. Now the Association is demanding that we have all records and documents to them in three days. We have no signed contract with the Association. What are our legal obligations. Thank you for your help.

More facts are needed to give you anything like dependable advice. Consult with a local attorney.
Re: Business
Even though there is no written contract, there can still be terms pursuant to a verbal agreement. In addition, there may be some duty imposed upon you to maintain the records depending on the circumstances.
