Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Business Identity theft
I asked a person that I knew to assist me with marketing a new company that I had started. After he tried to take over my company the wrong way, I removed him from my list of business associates. He not an employee and does not have any connections to my company. For 6 months he has been billing in my company name and phone number, and putting the money somewhere, not in the company accound. He has also destroyed my company name by doing bad work for a city. What type of legal action can I take, and what type of lawyer do I need to get.
Thank You

Re: Business Identity theft
You need a lawyer who is experienced in business litigation, perhaps trade secrets. The lawyer you ultimately hire will answer the rest of the questions. If improper activity is still happening, you may be advised to seek a temporary restraining order to prevent further misconduct.
