Business Liability Insurance

I wanted to start a business teaching roadside emergency and automotive safety course. I was trying to research information, but have not found anything related to my business idea. I wanted to know if I needed to have some form of liability insurance in case of a mishap or can I solely rely on a liability disclaimer? I know it will be a good idea to have liability coverage, but the expense may be greater than what I can afford at this time. What I want to know is it mandatory that I have liability insurance before I start my business? Thanks

It is doubtful that you would be required to have liability insurance unless require by a specific contract, business, department, etc. However, a liability disclaimer can only properly disclaim so much liability and only in certainly circumstances.
