Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
i have a carpenter building a display shelf for my store. He gets a call from another customer, who has a months work for him. he gathers his tools and leaves. What is my legal recourse.

In addition to the other attorney answer, is the carpenter a licensed contractor with your state? If so, you can file a complaint against him for abandoning your job, among other things. You can always hire someone else to complete the project, then sue him for damages. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
