Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
I own a cell-phone and computer repair shop in Georgia. We frequently have customers that drop off their devices, we repair them, and they do not ever show back up to claim the devices. How long must I wait before selling the devices to cover the cost of repair (parts +labor)?

It sounds like you made the mistake of operating a business without a lawyer. Your rights are totally dictated by the paperwork you use when people drop things off. You should havem, before starting business, had your lawyer draft a proper agreement that each customer would sign, and use that on every transaction. Since you have not done that, hold the items you have forever, unless you plan to sue those customers one by one, and chalk that up to bad business decisionmaking, and see a lawyer tomorrow to get something written for the future.
