Name change for LLC
How do I change an LLC name? Will changing the name change the effective registration date?

You file an amended Articles of Organization or Restated Articles of Organization with the Secretary of State. The name change will not effect the organization date. However, you need to check with the current Articles and the operating agreement to make sure that you follow the proper steps.
